A heavy cast iron American mechanical money coin bank with its original paintwork which shows some expected signs of age. This is of ‘Uncle Sam’. It is in full working order. The coin is fitted into the outstretched hand, a lever is then pressed, this causes the U.S. bag to open, and the hand lowers to drop the coin into the bag, with a bit of luck, the beard should wiggle. Good original condition, the coin retaining plate on the bottom is missing, see photograph. Sizes: 4 ½ “(12cms) wide, 3 ½ “(9cms) deep, 10 ½ “(27cms) high. Date circa 1920.
